Cooperative Learning
The third Survival Skill mentioned in Tony Wagner’s book, The Global Achievement Gap, is agility and adaptability. Learners need practice in thinking clearly, providing appropriate information, and adjusting their dialogue to meet the need of an ongoing conversation. This practice can be orchestrated within the learning environment. Work procedures in the current marketplace change constantly; by providing a variety of scenarios within the learning environment, educators can model and promote good business etiquette.

Directions
- Think about all the times you have worked in a group
- Brainstorm and list all the ways they can think of to sabotage a group assignment. Anything they can think of is fair game – it just needs to be something disruptive enough to drive a team task right off the rails!
- You will use your ideas during a later Zoom meeting, so keep your list nearby!
